Privacy Policy

The short version

SonicSeal does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data about you. The app runs 100% offline on your Mac. There are no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking cookies, no third-party scripts.

Data we do NOT collect

• No user accounts (no login, no email required to use the app).
• No IP addresses or device fingerprints.
• No usage analytics, no crash reports auto-uploaded.
• No content of your audio files (everything stays on your Mac).
• No buyer-tag registries shared with us (you manage those locally).

What data is stored — locally only on your Mac

SonicSeal stores its working data in a local database (SQLite) on your Mac:

• Mac App Store Edition: ~/Library/Containers/com.sonicseal.app/Data/Library/Application Support/ (sandboxed by macOS).
• Direct License Edition (DMG): ~/Library/Application Support/SonicSeal/.

This database contains your buyer tags, sealed-file registry, and forensic logs. This data never leaves your Mac. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.

Activation

Mac App Store Edition: SonicSeal is a paid-up-front application. There is no activation step. Once purchased and downloaded from the Mac App Store, all features are available immediately. The Apple receipt is verified locally by Apple's StoreKit — no data is sent to us.

Direct License Edition (DMG): After purchase on Gumroad you receive an email containing an Ed25519-signed activation block. When you paste this block into the app, the signature is verified locally using a public key embedded in the app. No request is sent to our servers during activation.

Auto-updates

Mac App Store Edition: updates are delivered exclusively by Apple. See Apple's privacy policy.

Direct License Edition: the app periodically checks github.com/Komar-Developer/SonicSeal-Releases/releases.atom for new versions. This network request reaches GitHub only — never our servers — and contains no personal data beyond your IP (which GitHub processes per their privacy policy). You can disable auto-update checks in the app settings.

Email delivery (Direct License Edition only)

When you purchase a SonicSeal license via Gumroad, the following happens:

• Gumroad processes your payment per Gumroad's privacy policy.
• Gumroad sends our system a webhook with your email and purchase metadata.
• We generate a signed activation block in GitHub Actions and email it to you via Resend.
• Your email is retained solely to re-send a lost activation block on request. We never share or sell it.

Mac App Store buyers are unaffected by this flow — Apple manages all purchase communication.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you'd like us to delete your purchase email from our records, write to aigod.pro2026@gmail.com with subject "GDPR deletion" and we'll comply within 30 days. Note this will prevent us from re-sending your activation block if you lose it.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the date above. Continued use of SonicSeal after a policy change means you accept the new policy.
