Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 June 2026

1. The agreement

By downloading or using SonicSeal (the "Software"), you agree to these Terms of Use. The Software is provided by Adelio Falcó Martí ("we", "us") based in Alicante, Spain.

2. Editions and license grant

SonicSeal is licensed, not sold. SonicSeal is distributed in two editions:

Direct License Edition tiers

All Direct License Edition tiers except Vendor include 12 months of free updates from the date of purchase. After the 12-month window the Software continues to work indefinitely on the last released version within that window.

3. Permitted use

4. Prohibited use

5. Updates

Mac App Store Edition: updates are delivered through the Mac App Store while the application remains available on the store, at no additional cost.

Direct License Edition (Pro / Label / Studio): 12 months of free updates from the purchase date. After that window the Software continues to work indefinitely on the latest version released within the window. There is no recurring charge and no in-app purchase.

Vendor tier: annual subscription. Renewal grants continued SDK updates and support; without renewal the existing build keeps working but no further updates are provided.

6. Refunds

7. Disclaimer of warranty

SONICSEAL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO GUARANTEE THAT WATERMARKED AUDIO WILL SURVIVE EVERY POSSIBLE FORM OF COMPRESSION, RE-RECORDING, OR ATTACK. SONICSEAL IS A FORENSIC TOOL, NOT A LEAK-PROOF SHIELD.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Software is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, leaked tracks, or damaged reputation.

This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under Spanish or EU law (e.g., gross negligence, willful misconduct).

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Alicante, Spain, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to sue in your country of residence.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms when the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page (see "Last updated" date above) and via email to Direct License Edition holders.
